A news / blog content service is provided for accounting firms, business advisors and legal practices. Benefits include:

Background
Artinian Consulting was established in 2019 to continue the services Mike Artinian managed while at the University of Waikato’s 
Article/blog content service (formerly the Client Newsletter Service) was produced at Waikato University for over 25 years. This service was taken on by Artinian Consulting in 2019, and continues to provide legal and accounting firms with news content for their client communications (website, blog and newsletter).
Business Performance Comparison Surveys, conducted for industry groups and associations, typically provide financial benchmarking information for business improvement. Clients have included: Transporting New Zealand, Mitre 10, ValGroup, optometrist franchises, Nursery and Garden Industry NZ (now NZPPI), and other electrical, engineering and retail associations. Nationwide surveys of legal and accounting practices have also been carried out, with the NZ Law Firm Practice Comparison run biennially for over 15 years.
The NZ Business Benchmarking Survey, was run at the University of Waikato for over 25 years, before being discontinued in 2018. The results of this survey were widely accepted as the standard for SME benchmarking statistics in New Zealand. This annual survey was run in conjunction with NZ accounting firms and generated financial benchmarking information from over 4,500 NZ SME data sets received each year.
Background
Artinian Consulting was formed in 2019 to continue services that Mike Artinian (manager) and Paul Meharry (business research analyst) ran during their time at the University of Waikato’s benchmarking unit (previously the Management Research Centre). We are now engaged in providing some of these core services on our own account.
Our financial benchmarking expertise includes conducting Business Performance Comparison Surveys for industry groups and associations, including: Mitre 10, Transporting New Zealand, ValGroup, optometrist franchises, Nursery and Garden Industry NZ (now NZPPI), and other electrical, engineering and retail associations. Nationwide surveys of legal and accounting practices were also carried out.

This annual survey, run in conjunction with NZ accounting firms, generated financial benchmarking information from the over 4,500 NZ SME data sets accountants summitted to the survey each year.
In addition to the benchmarking services, Artinian Consulting took on the accountants and legal client newsletter service previously run by the benchmarking unit, to enable this valued service to continue.
